Refund and Cancellation Policy

Version 1.1. Effective from 10 October 2026.

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. We will tell you at least 30 days before an important change to it takes effect (Terms of Service, clause 17).

1. Who sells the service

Payments are taken by Stripe. The seller is Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe company ("Link"), acting as "merchant of record": it takes your payment, issues your receipt and pays refunds, and its refund policy at https://support.link.com/questions/requesting-a-refund-for-a-sold-through-link-payment also applies. Your checkout page and receipt say that the plan is sold through Link. The service itself is provided by ExamStudyAid OÜ, a private limited company (osaühing) under Estonian law, registry code 17537614 in the Estonian Commercial Register (Äriregister), registered address Tartu mnt 67/1-13b, Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallinn, Harju maakond, 10115, Estonia, email help@examstudyaid.com. Cancellation notices and refund requests can come to us or to Link support; we arrange any refund we agree through Stripe. Where this policy would give you less than Link's refund policy, Link's policy applies.

2. Cancelling your plan

You can cancel your paid plan at any time. Open your account page and choose Manage billing. This takes you to the billing portal run by Stripe, where you can cancel, or switch to a different billing period (Terms of Service, clause 5). If you have a Link account, you can also cancel there, under Recurring; if you delete your Link account, Link cancels any subscription sold through it.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access to paid content until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.

We do not refund the remaining part of a period you have already paid for, unless you are using your 14-day cancellation right (clause 3) or the law requires a refund. Link's own refund policy also applies (clause 6).

If you only have a free account, there is nothing to cancel or refund. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (Terms of Service, clause 14).

3. Your 14-day right to cancel

If you are a consumer living in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you have the right to cancel your purchase (the law calls this "withdrawal") within 14 days of the day you bought your plan. You do not have to give a reason.

To cancel, do any one of these:

  • use the "Withdraw from contract here" button on your account page, which is there for the first 14 days after your purchase; we confirm receipt by email;
  • email help@examstudyaid.com from the email address on your account with a clear statement that you are cancelling, or use the form in Annex A;
  • contact Link support and say that you are cancelling during the cooling-off period; Link then handles the refund under its own process.

Your notice counts from the day you send it, so keep a copy. We confirm by email that we have received it.

If someone else paid for your plan, for example a parent or guardian, the cancellation right belongs to them, and we can deal with either of you.

4. If you start using your plan during the 14 days

Your plan gives you access to an online service from the moment you pay. Before going to the checkout, the person paying ticks this box on our site:

"I agree to the Terms of Service and to my plan renewing automatically until I cancel, and I ask for my plan to start now."

Your welcome email confirms the date on which you asked us to start.

If you then cancel within the 14 days, you pay only for the days you had access and we refund the rest. We work out your share like this: the amount paid for the plan period, including any tax, divided by the number of days in the plan period, multiplied by the number of days from the start of your access up to and including the day you send your cancellation. Your access ends when we receive your cancellation.

5. Renewals

Your 14-day right applies once, when you first buy. It does not start again when your plan renews, because you were told the renewal price and period when you bought. You can stop a renewal at any time before it happens (clause 2). If the law where you live limits automatic renewal or lets you end a renewed period early, you keep that right.

6. Refunds outside the 14 days

If the service does not work as described, the Terms of Service (clause 13) explain your rights: we put it right, or you may be entitled to a price reduction or to end the contract with a refund for the period affected.

We do not give refunds for a change of mind after the cancellation period, and we do not offer refunds beyond your legal rights.

If you did not receive what you paid for, or it is significantly not as described, you can also ask Link directly for a refund within 60 days of the payment, under its refund policy at https://support.link.com/questions/requesting-a-refund-for-a-sold-through-link-payment. Link decides those requests under its own policy and may ask us for information about your purchase.

7. How we pay refunds

Refunds are paid by Link, through Stripe, to the payment method you used. If you cancel under your 14-day right, you receive your refund within 14 days of the day you tell us. For any other refund we agree with you, you receive it within 14 days of our agreeing it. There is no fee for a refund. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.

8. Disputing a charge with your bank

If you think a charge is wrong, email help@examstudyaid.com first. We reply within 15 days and can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. The charge appears on your statement as LINK.COM* followed by our name. You can also contact Link support.

9. Contact and disputes

Questions and complaints about cancellations and refunds: help@examstudyaid.com. We reply within 15 days.

If you are a consumer living in Estonia or in another EU member state and we cannot resolve your complaint, you may refer it to the Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon) at the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (TTJA), Endla 10a, 10122 Tallinn, Estonia, www.komisjon.ee. Statements to the Committee are made in Estonian.

If you live outside the EU, the EEA and the UK and the law where you live gives you a cancellation or refund right that this policy does not describe, you keep that right.

Annex A: Cancellation (withdrawal) form

Complete and return this form only if you wish to cancel your purchase. You can also cancel by using the "Withdraw from contract here" button on your account page, by sending us any clear statement by email, or by contacting Link support.
